To explain better my lovelies, let me tell you about my Saturday night in detail.
I purchased my ticket about 2 days before the event for a city party tour (space was limited), I arrived for check in at a local bar in NYC were I was handed a pair of wireless headphones that had volume control and a switch on the side to change between 2 channels that offered 2 different music genres.
Each station turned either a green or a blue light on to indicate others which station you were listening to.
Since this was a tour, of course we had a tourguide David who also was wearing a pair of headphones along with a microphone which he used to communicate with us. We were a big group and we all went to 3 bars in total, we visited Penn Station and Grand Central, in between our travels we had a dance party EVERYWHERE, and I mean everywhere!!!!
As you guys can see, I was having a blast, music is something that completely takes over me and so this was just too perfect, not to mention there was an 80s station which is my fav genre of all times!
Our tourguide also asked us to interact with our endless expectators by shouting things like "hello everyone, I'm not here to ask for money, I'm just here to dance" or "welcome to 42nd street" "come dance with us and show us what you got", of course some people questioned our sanity lol while others couldn't help themselves and joined our traveling party!
The attendees ranged from all different ages and backgrounds,we were all a bunch of strangers who got to connect through music and lyrics and to me that was amazing, being able to be random and crazy with others increased my happiness by a thousand! Good vibes are contagious and everyone was just feeding of each others good energy!
Overall this was truly a unique experience that I will never forget, I'm so grateful to have taken part of this awesome new trend, I will definitely will be doing it again, so if you're feeling a little crazy and don't mind the attention give this baby a try!
